I can't believe that Jacob is almost 3 weeks old already! We are slowly getting adjusted to the new normal way of life. Caleb has been crying a lot more lately, but I'm not sure if it's because he's not getting all of the attention or if it's a phase kids go through at his age. Jacob doesn't cry much, so I guess it balances out :-)

We have been blessed with our second son, Jacob Henry Fincher. We had a c-section scheduled for November 26th, but on Friday November 23rd at 4:45am my water broke! Thankfully we have great friends and Joyce West was able to come over and stay at the house with Caleb while Brian and I went to the hospital. We went into the labor and delivery room where we found out I was only 3cm dilated. The contractions were about 4 minutes a part. The next time they checked my progress I was 5cm dilated. They checked again around 12:30 and I was 9.5cm dilated. It was almost time to push! Brian and Moma were in the delivery room with me and at 1:00 it was time to push. By 1:45pm Jacob was here! He weighed 9lb 8oz and was 22 inches long! We were all so happy to see him. We were able to come home from the hospital on Sunday around noon. We have been getting adjusted to having 2 boys at home. Thankfully Moma is here to help. Caleb loves his little brother. We have to watch him because he wants to give all of his toys to Jacob. When Caleb sees Jacob he smiles and points and says baby. It's so cute! Here are a few pictures of our adventures.
