Caleb's first experience with watermelons. He was kind of indifferent, but they make a good background. By the way, Daddy's watermelons are still the sweetest and best watermelons ever.

Once again, I can't believe how fast Caleb is growing up! It seems like yesterday we were at the hospital. Caleb laughs a lot now. He laughs at the dogs, Brian's funny voices, when we act like we're biting his belly and sometimes for no reason at all. Caleb sleeps through the night. He goes to bed around 8 and wakes up around 5 or 6. He eats and then goes back to sleep until 7 or 8. Caleb likes to go to the pool. He sits in his float and chews on it. He puts or tries to put everything in his mouth. I think he is beginning to teethe, so he is fussy at times. He likes to play with his toys: Freida the Frog, Gretchen the Green Goblin, CJ, and a red and blue ball that he can grasp. He still plays on his gym floor mat, but not as much. He will sit in the Bumbo in front of the toys hanging on the gym and play with them setting upright. He likes to play in his exersaucer most days. He will stay in it anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes. Caleb also loves his jumper. There is a mat underneath him that plays music when he steps on it. We have gone to the dog park a few times with Lexi and Mackenzie. It's always an adventure, but Caleb loves to watch the dogs. Lately we have been walking the dogs around the block. When I am pushing Caleb in his stroller the dogs are great. They walk right beside the stroller without pulling on the leash. They don't run toward anything or try to stop and smell something. It is definitely easier than loading everyone up and going to the park. Caleb is weighing in at 16 pounds.

Caleb has been laughing a lot more lately. There is not one thing that makes him laugh all the time, but a few times a day he just cracks up! Yesterday it happened when he was looking at the dogs through the glass door.
